Top All Inclusive Family Vacation Destination in Cuba

Cuba is famous for its all inclusive resorts, and is a wonderful place to go for an all inclusive family vacation, and there is none better, and in fact many regard it as the best hotel in Cuba, and that is the 386 room beachfront Iberostar Varadero.

The Iberostar Varadero is new, and Ibersostar bring their massive European reputation to Cuba and add to it. Here you will be right on the beautiful pristine beach and 20 minutes from downtown Varadero, and 40 minutes from the airport.

It is not only an all inclusive resort, but they do food 24 hours a day, which if you have hungry teenagers makes it a perfect place for a family beach vacation.

In terms of what the Iberostar Varadero offers, then the 386 rooms are all in eleven 3-storey buildings.

The rooms are large and air conditioned with a balcony or terrace, Satellite TV, and full bathroom. If you book a suite, then the room facilities are the same except there is a sitting area.

There is one buffet restaurant, and three a la carte restaurants featuring Japanese, Meditteranean, and Cuban Cuisine, where you will need a reservation, and dress code applies. You need to know that some restaurants aren?t open all the time, and you may find the number of times you can eat in them has constraints.

Buffets do tend to be quite bland, but the food in the a la carte restaurants is excellent. The buffets however are ideal for a family vacation where children tend not to have the exotic tastes of their parents.

The all inclusive family vacation element is well catered for with loads to do to keep particularly the slightly older child occupied, and of course the parent who doesn?t want to just lie on a sunbed imbibing the great range of all inclusive drinks whilst enjoying the beachfront position.

The all inclusive activities include, windsurfing, catamarans, kayaking, tennis, water polo, archery, beach volleyball, pool tables, table tennis, and for the 4-12 year olds there is a Kid?s Club, games room, and pool.

The adults in the family are more likely to be interested in the Aerobics, dance lessons, and a daily activities program, and the nightly entertainments, and then teenagers and parents can enjoy the disco.

There is a very high satisfaction rate, and there are very good reasons for naming the Iberostar Varadero as not only the best all inclusive, but in fact the best resort in Cuba.

The kind of comments heard include the attentiveness of the staff, and the service supplied. The beautiful beach, kept clean daily, the huge pool with swim up bar, Jacuzzi and water toys for all to use free of charge. A good description is luxury, comfort, elegance, with top class food in the a la carte restaurants.

Unlike other all inclusive resorts, there are top quality brands available at the Iberostar Varadero.

More than anything else, because obviously the facilities are what you would expect from a five star resort, it is how well all the staff carry out their functions, that guests remark on most frequently. Bearing in mind the shortages of what we would call basics in Cuba, it is a kindness to tip them well, leave toiletries behind when you go for them to take home and use.

You will have a great family all inclusive family vacation here at the Iberostar Varadero, always providing you don?t mind a bit of noise from the various entertainments. Good value, beachfront, and Iberostar at its best.

Why Cuba Is One Of The Safest Travel Destinations
Cuba is a very safe place to vacation. One characteristic that profoundly affects the overall safety of the nation is the environment of the cities. As a general rule, travelers and Cuban citizens can enjoy an equal amount of security on the streets. This stands in contrast to most nations in which tourists are often targeted because of how much they stand out, and the assumption that some wealth surrounds them since they are capable of travelling. Another major aspect of safety on the streets of Cuba is the presence of police. In the average city, a police officer of some variety can be found with relative ease in the case of an emergency. This aspect of protection is only increased in popular tourist locations in which security officials ...

Hello from Cuba (8) - Bicycle Rides, Camellos and Cannon Shots
After picking up the bicycle on Thursday, I finally took my first ride on Friday afternoon through the beautiful residential area of Vedado. We had had a tropical downpour in the early afternoon, so the streets were a bit wet and it was about 4 pm or so by the time I got out. Of course, by that time, rush hour traffic had already started and there were thousands of people in the street, waiting for buses. The bicycle was a pretty new mountain bike, but it seems that all the gears and derailleurs were totally screwed up and I constantly had problems with the chain. 2 of the 3 chainrings in the front didn't work at all and I had a pretty hard time getting along with the bike.

Hello from Cuba (15) - Goodbye, Havana.....
So my stay in the Cuban capital is rapidly coming to a close. Even the good weather seems to have taken leave. This morning it clouded over, followed by an intense downpour and now the sky is grey and the wind is blowing strongly. Unless the weather improves, I think it?s going to be a day for a museum or a movie and for letting this Cuban adventure come to a slow and gentle close.
